ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਸ੍ਨਿਗ੍ਧਾਂ ਮੁਗ੍ਧਾਂ ਸਤਤਮਪਿ ਤਾਂ ਲਾਲਯਨ੍ ਸਤ੍ਯਭਾਮਾਂ
ਯਾਤੋ ਭੂਯਃ ਸਹ ਖਲੁ ਤਯਾ ਯਾਜ੍ਞਸੇਨੀਵਿਵਾਹਮ੍ ।
ਪਾਰ੍ਥਪ੍ਰੀਤ੍ਯੈ ਪੁਨਰਪਿ ਮਨਾਗਾਸ੍ਥਿਤੋ ਹਸ੍ਤਿਪੁਰ੍ਯਾਂ
ਸਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਂ ਪੁਰਮਪਿ ਵਿਭੋ ਸਂਵਿਧਾਯਾਗਤੋ਽ਭੂਃ ॥1॥

Meaning
ਸ੍ਨਿਗ੍ਧਾਂ ਮੁਗ੍ਧਾਂ - loving and very beautiful; ਸ੍ਤਤਮ੍-ਅਪਿ - for some time also; ਤਾਂ ਲਾਲਯਨ੍ - her endearing; ਸਤ੍ਯਭਾਮਾਂ - Satyabhaamaa; ਯਾਤਃ ਭੂਯਃ - (Thou) went, thereafter; ਸਹ ਖਲੁ ਤਯਾ - with indeed her; ਯਾਜ੍ਞਸੇਨੀ-ਵਿਵਾਹਮ੍ - to Paanchaali's marriage; ਪਾਰ੍ਥ-ਪ੍ਰੀਤ੍ਯੈ - for the Pandavaa's pleasure; ਪੁਨਃ-ਅਪਿ - again also; ਮਨਾਕ੍-ਆਸ੍ਥਿਤਃ - for sometime stayed; ਹਸ੍ਤਿਪੁਰ੍ਯਾਮ੍ - in Hastinaapur; ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਂ ਪੁਰਮ੍-ਅਪਿ - Indraprastha city also; ਵਿਭੋ ਸਂਵਿਧਾਯ- - O Lord! Founding; ਆਗਤਃ-ਅਭੂਃ - returned;

Translation
Thou always endeared the loving and very beautiful Satyabhaamaa. Thereafter Thou went with her to attend the wedding of Paanchaali. To please the Paandavaas, Thou stayed in Hastinaapur for sometime. O Lord! Thou then founded the city of Indraprastha and then returned to Dwaarikaa.

ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ ਭਵਦਵਰਜਾਂ ਕੌਰਵੇਣਾਰ੍ਥ੍ਯਮਾਨਾਂ
ਤ੍ਵਦ੍ਵਾਚਾ ਤਾਮਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ ਕੁਹਨਾਮਸ੍ਕਰੀ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਸੂਨੁਃ ।
ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕ੍ਰੁਦ੍ਧਂ ਬਲਮਨੁਨਯਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਗਾਸ੍ਤੇਨ ਸਾਰ੍ਧਂ
ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਂ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਸਖਮੁਦੇ ਸਤ੍ਯਭਾਮਾਸਹਾਯਃ ॥2॥

Meaning
ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ - the virtuous Subhadraa; ਭਵਤ੍-ਅਵਰਜਾਂ - Thy younger sister; ਕੌਰਵੇਣ-ਅਰ੍ਥ੍ਯਮਾਨਾਮ੍ - by the Kaurava (Duryodhana) sought (in marriage); ਤ੍ਵਤ੍-ਵਾਚਾ - by Thy words; ਤਾਮ੍-ਅਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ - her carried away; ਕੁਹਨਾ-ਮਸ੍ਕਰੀ - as a false sanyaasi; ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਸੂਨੁਃ - Indra's son Arjun; ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕ੍ਰੁਦ੍ਧਂ ਬਲਮ੍- - there, enraged Balaraama; ਅਨੁਨਯਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਗਾਃ- - pacifying (Thou) went; ਤੇਨ ਸਾਰ੍ਧਮ੍ - with him; ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਮ੍ - to Indraprastha; ਪ੍ਰਿਯ-ਸਖ-ਮੁਦੇ - for dear friend's pleasure; ਸਤ੍ਯਭਾਮਾ-ਸਹਾਯਃ - along with Satyabhaamaa;

Translation
Thy younger sister, the virtuous Subhadraa was sought in marriage by the Kuru prince Duryodhana. She was carried away by Indra's son Arjuna in the guise of an ascetic at Thy behest. Balaraama was enraged at this but was later pacified by Thee. Thou then went with him and Satyabhaamaa to Indraprastha to the great delight of Thy dear friend Arjuna.

ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕ੍ਰੀਡਨ੍ਨਪਿ ਚ ਯਮੁਨਾਕੂਲਦ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਟਾਂ ਗ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ
ਤਾਂ ਕਾਲਿਂਦੀਂ ਨਗਰਮਗਮਃ ਖਾਂਡਵਪ੍ਰੀਣਿਤਾਗ੍ਨਿਃ ।
ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਣਯਵਿਵਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇਵ ਪੈਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਵਸੇਯੀਂ
ਰਾਜ੍ਞਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸਪਦਿ ਜਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼ੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਵਿਂਦਾਮਵਂਤੀਮ੍ ॥3॥

Meaning
ਤਤ੍ਰ ਕ੍ਰੀਡਨ੍-ਅਪਿ ਚ - there sporting even and; ਯਮੁਨਾ-ਕੂਲ-ਦ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਟਾਂ - on Yamuna's bank seen; ਗ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਹੀਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਾਂ ਕਾਲਿਂਦੀਮ੍ - taking that Kaalindi; ਨਗਰਮ੍-ਅਗਮਃ - to the city (Thou) went; ਖਾਂਡਵ-ਪ੍ਰੀਣਿਤ-ਅਗ੍ਨਿਃ - by the khandava forest pleasing the fire god; ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇ-ਤ੍ਰਸ੍ਤਾਮ੍ - of her brother afraid; ਪ੍ਰਣਯ-ਵਿਵਸ਼ਾਮ੍ - in love (for Thee) helpless; ਦੇਵ ਪੈਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਵਸੇਯੀਂ - O Lord! Thy father's sisters's daughter; ਰਾਜ੍ਞਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ - from among the kings; ਸਪਦਿ ਜਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼ੇ - quickly took away; ਮਿਤ੍ਰਵਿਂਦਾਮ੍-ਅਵਂਤੀਮ੍ - Mitravindaa, the princess of Avanti;

Translation
Even as Thou sported there, Thou saw Kaalindi on the banks of the river Yamuna and took her as Thy wife. Thou pleased the god of fire, Agni by letting him consume the Khaandava forest, and then returned to the city of Dwaarika. The princess of Avanti, Mitravindaa was the daughter of Thy father's sister and was greatly in love with Thee. She was afraid of her brother and was helpless. Thou took her away suddenly in the presence of many kings.

ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਸਤ੍ਯਾਂ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਪੁਨਰੁਦਵਹੋ ਨਗ੍ਨਜਿਨ੍ਨਂਦਨਾਂ ਤਾਂ
ਬਧ੍ਵਾ ਸਪ੍ਤਾਪਿ ਚ ਵ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼ਵਰਾਨ੍ ਸਪ੍ਤਮੂਰ੍ਤਿਰ੍ਨਿਮੇਸ਼ਾਤ੍ ।
ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਦਦੁਰਥ ਤੇ ਦੇਵ ਸਂਤਰ੍ਦਨਾਦ੍ਯਾ-
ਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਸੋਦਰ੍ਯਾ ਵਰਦ ਭਵਤਃ ਸਾ਽ਪਿ ਪੈਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਵਸੇਯੀ ॥4॥

Meaning
ਸਤ੍ਯਾਂ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ - Satya, going to; ਪੁਨਃ-ਉਦਵਹਃ - again Thou married (Satya); ਨਗ੍ਨਜਿਤ੍-ਨਂਦਨਾਂ ਤਾਂ - Nagnajit's daughter her; ਬਧ੍ਵਾ ਸਪ੍ਤ-ਅਪਿ - harnessing seven even; ਚ ਵ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼-ਵਰਾਨ੍ - and bull's powerful; ਸਪ੍ਤ-ਮੂਰ੍ਤਿਃ-ਨਿਮੇਸ਼ਾਤ੍ - by seven forms assuming; ਭਦ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਮ - Bhadraa by name; ਪ੍ਰਦਦੁਃ-ਅਥ - gave then; ਤੇ ਦੇਵ - to Thee O Lord!; ਸਂਤਰ੍ਦਨ-ਆਦ੍ਯਾਃ- - by Santardana and other; ਤਤ੍-ਸੋਦ੍ਰ੍ਯਾਃ - of her brothers; ਵਰਦ ਭਵਤਃ - O Bestower of Boons! To Thee; ਸਾ-ਅਪਿ ਪੈਤ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼੍ਵਸੇਯੀ - she also was Thy father's sister's daughter;

Translation
Thou then went to Kausala and married the king Nagnajit's daughter after demonstrating Thy strength by harnessing seven powerful bulls simultaneously assuming seven forms. O Lord! Bhadraa's brothers Santardana and others gave her to Thee in marriage. O Bestower of Boons! she was also the daughter of Thy father's sister.

ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਪਾਰ੍ਥਾਦ੍ਯੈਰਪ੍ਯਕ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤਲਵਨਂ ਤੋਯਮਾਤ੍ਰਾਭਿਲਕ੍ਸ਼੍ਯਂ
ਲਕ੍ਸ਼ਂ ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸ਼ਫਰਮਵ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਥਾ ਲਕ੍ਸ਼੍ਮਣਾਂ ਮਦ੍ਰਕਨ੍ਯਾਮ੍ ।
ਅਸ਼੍ਟਾਵੇਵਂ ਤਵ ਸਮਭਵਨ੍ ਵਲ੍ਲਭਾਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਰ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ
ਸ਼ੁਸ਼੍ਰੋਥ ਤ੍ਵਂ ਸੁਰਪਤਿਗਿਰਾ ਭੌਮਦੁਸ਼੍ਚੇਸ਼੍ਟਿਤਾਨਿ ॥5॥

Meaning
ਪਾਰ੍ਥ-ਆਦ੍ਯੈਃ-ਅਪਿ - by Arjuna and others also; ਅਕ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ-ਲਵਨਂ - not pierced through; ਤੋਯ-ਮਾਤ੍ਰ-ਅਭਿਲਕ੍ਸ਼੍ਯਂ - in water alone reflected; ਲਕ੍ਸ਼ਂ ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ - the target, piercing; ਸ਼ਫਰਮ੍-ਅਵ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਥਾ - of a fish, married; ਲਕ੍ਸ਼੍ਮਣਾਂ ਮਂਦ੍ਰਕਨ੍ਯਾਮ੍ - Lakshmanaa, the daughter of the king of Madra; ਅਸ਼੍ਟੌ-ਏਵਮ੍ - eight, in this manner; ਤਵ ਸਮਭਵਨ੍ - Thy became; ਵਲ੍ਲਭਾਃ-ਤਤ੍ਰ - wives, there also; ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼੍ਰੁਥ - between all this, (Thou) heard; ਤ੍ਵਂ ਸੁਰਪਤਿ-ਗਿਰਾ - Thou by Indra's words; ਭੌਮ-ਦੁਸ਼੍ਟਚੇਸ਼੍ਟਿਤਾਨਿ - Bhauma's evil deeds;

Translation
The target which was just a reflection of a fish in the water was not hit at even by Arjuna and the others. Striking which Thou married Lakshmanaa who was the daughter of the king of Madra. In this manner Thou had eight wives. Thou then came to know about the misdeeds of Bhauma from Indra's words.

ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਸ੍ਮ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤਾਯਾਤਂ ਪਕ੍ਸ਼ਿਪ੍ਰਵਰਮਧਿਰੂਢਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਮਗਮੋ
ਵਹਨ੍ਨਂਕੇ ਭਾਮਾਮੁਪਵਨਮਿਵਾਰਾਤਿਭਵਨਮ੍ ।
ਵਿਭਿਂਦਨ੍ ਦੁਰ੍ਗਾਣਿ ਤ੍ਰੁਟਿਤਪ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤਨਾਸ਼ੋਣਿਤਰਸੈਃ
ਪੁਰਂ ਤਾਵਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਗ੍ਜ੍ਯੋਤਿਸ਼ਮਕੁਰੁਥਾਃ ਸ਼ੋਣਿਤਪੁਰਮ੍ ॥6॥

Meaning
ਸ੍ਮ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ-ਆਯਾਤਂ - (as and when) remembered, coming; ਪਕ੍ਸ਼ਿਪ੍ਰਵਰਮ੍- - the divine bird (Garuda); ਅਧਿਰੂਢਃ-ਤ੍ਵਮ੍-ਅਗਮਃ - riding on him Thou went; ਵਹਨ੍-ਅਂਕੇ - carrying on Thy lap; ਭਾਮਾਮ੍-ਉਪਵਨਮ੍-ਇਵ- - Satyabhaamaa, in a garden as if; ਅਰਾਤਿ-ਭਵਨਮ੍ - in the enemy's residence; ਵਿਭਿਂਦਨ੍ ਦੁਰ੍ਗਾਣਿ - destroying its fortification; ਤ੍ਰੁਟਿਤ-ਪ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤਨਾ- - slaughtering the army; ਸ਼ੋਣਿਤ-ਰਸੈਃ - (with its) blood liquid; ਪੁਰਂ ਤਾਵਤ੍ - that city then; ਪ੍ਰਾਗ੍ਜ੍ਯੋਤਿਸ਼ਮ੍- - Praagjyotisha; ਅਕੁਰੁਥਾਃ - made into; ਸ਼ੋਣਿਤਪੁਰਮ੍ - Shonitpura;

Translation
Thou rode with Satyabhaamaa on Thy lap riding the divine bird Garuda, who came to Thee as and when required and remembered. Thou went to the residence of the enemy as if Thou were going to a garden. After destroying the fortification of the city of Praagjyotish, Thou killed the army and made the blood run all over the city. Thou soon converted the city of Praagjyotish into Shonitpura (the city of blood).

ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਮੁਰਸ੍ਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਪਂਚਾਸ੍ਯੋ ਜਲਧਿਵਨਮਧ੍ਯਾਦੁਦਪਤਤ੍
ਸ ਚਕ੍ਰੇ ਚਕ੍ਰੇਣ ਪ੍ਰਦਲਿਤਸ਼ਿਰਾ ਮਂਕ੍ਸ਼ੁ ਭਵਤਾ ।
ਚਤੁਰ੍ਦਂਤੈਰ੍ਦਂਤਾਵਲਪਤਿਭਿਰਿਂਧਾਨਸਮਰਂ
ਰਥਾਂਗੇਨ ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਨਰਕਮਕਰੋਸ੍ਤੀਰ੍ਣਨਰਕਮ੍ ॥7॥

Meaning
ਮੁਰਃ-ਤ੍ਵਾਂ - (the Asura) Mura (to) Thee; ਪਂਚ-ਆਸ੍ਯਃ - the five faced one; ਜਲਧਿ-ਵਨ-ਮਧ੍ਯਾਤ੍- - from the middle of the ocean like forest; ਉਦਪਤਤ੍ - rushed; ਸ ਚਕ੍ਰੇ ਚਕ੍ਰੇਣ - he was made by the discus; ਪ੍ਰਦਲਿਤ-ਸ਼ਿਰਾ - cut off heads; ਮਂਕ੍ਸ਼ੁ ਭਵਤਾ - at once by Thee; ਚਤੁਃ-ਦਂਤੈਃ- - by the four tusked; ਦਂਤਾਵਲਪਤਿਭਿਃ- - mighty elephants; ਇਂਧਾਨ-ਸਮਰਂ - giving tough and protracted fight; ਰਥਾਂਗੇਨ ਛਿਤ੍ਵਾ - with Thy discus severing; ਨਰਕਮ੍-ਅਕਰੋਃ- - to Narakaasur made; ਤੀਰ੍ਣ-ਨਰਕਮ੍ - pass over hell;

Translation
The Asura Mura having five faces rushed towards Thee from the middle of the forest which was like an ocean. He was at once made headless by Thy discus cutting off his five heads. Then Narakaasura with his regiment of mighty four tusked elephants gave a prolonged tough fight. Thou cut off his head also and made him pass over hell (and saved him from the suffering of hell).

ਸ਼੍ਲੋਕਃ
ਸ੍ਤੁਤੋ ਭੂਮ੍ਯਾ ਰਾਜ੍ਯਂ ਸਪਦਿ ਭਗਦਤ੍ਤੇ਽ਸ੍ਯ ਤਨਯੇ
ਗਜਂਚੈਕਂ ਦਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਜਿਘਯਿਥ ਨਾਗਾਨ੍ਨਿਜਪੁਰੀਮ੍ ।
ਖਲੇਨਾਬਦ੍ਧਾਨਾਂ ਸ੍ਵਗਤਮਨਸਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਡਸ਼ ਪੁਨਃ
ਸਹਸ੍ਰਾਣਿ ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਣਾਮਪਿ ਚ ਧਨਰਾਸ਼ਿਂ ਚ ਵਿਪੁਲਮ੍ ॥8॥

Meaning
ਸ੍ਤੁਤਃ ਭੂਮ੍ਯਾ - hymns sung (to Thee) by Bhoomi Devi; ਰਾਜ੍ਯਂ ਸਪਦਿ - the kingdom at once; ਭਗਦਤ੍ਤੇ-ਅਸ੍ਯ ਤਨਯੇ - to Bhagadatta his son; ਗਜਮ੍-ਚ-ਏਕਂ - and elephant one; ਦਤ੍ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਜਘਯਿਥ - gave and sent away; ਨਾਗਾਨ੍-ਨਿਜ-ਪੁਰੀਮ੍ - the elephants to Thy city; ਖਲੇਨ-ਆਬਦ੍ਧਾਨਾਮ੍ - by the wicked (Narakaasura) imprisoned; ਸ੍ਵਗਤ-ਮਨਸਾਂ - whose minds were devoted to Thee; ਸ਼ੋਡਸ਼ ਪੁਨਃ ਸਹਸ੍ਰਾਣਿ - sixteen again thousand (16000); ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਣਾਮ੍-ਅਪਿ ਚ - women also and; ਧਨ-ਰਾਸ਼ਿਂ ਚ ਵਿਪੁਲਂ - wealth of great amount;

Translation
Bhumi Devi sang hymns in Thy praise. Thou at once gave the kingdom and an elephant to Narakaasur's son Bhagadatta. The rest of the elephants Thou sent away to Dwaarikaa along with a good amount of wealth. Thou also sent the 16000 women who nourished love for Thee, and were imprisoned by the wicked Narakaasura.

ਭੌਮਾਪਾਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤਕੁਂਡਲਂ ਤਦਦਿਤੇਰ੍ਦਾਤੁਂ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤੋ ਦਿਵਂ
ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਾਦ੍ਯੈਰ੍ਮਹਿਤਃ ਸਮਂ ਦਯਿਤਯਾ ਦ੍ਯੁਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਸ਼ੁ ਦਤ੍ਤਹ੍ਰਿਯਾ ।
ਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਲ੍ਪਤਰੁਂ ਰੁਸ਼ਾਭਿਪਤਿਤਂ ਜਿਤ੍ਵੇਂਦ੍ਰਮਭ੍ਯਾਗਮ-

ਭੌਮ-ਅਪਾਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ-ਕੁਂਡਲਂ - by Bhauma taken away the earrings; ਤਤ੍-ਅਦਿਤੇਃ-ਦਾਤੁਂ - that to Aditi to give; ਪ੍ਰਯਾਤਃ ਦਿਵਮ੍ - went to the heaven; ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰ-ਆਦ੍ਯੈਃ-ਮਹਿਤਃ - by Indra and others honoured; ਸਮਂ ਦਯਿਤਯਾ - with (Thy) wife; ਦ੍ਯੁ-ਸ੍ਤ੍ਰੀਸ਼ੁ - the women of the heaven; ਦ੍ਤ੍ਤ-ਹ੍ਰਿਯਾ - putting to shame; ਹ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ੍ਵਾ ਕਲ੍ਪਤਰੁਮ੍ - taking away the Kalpataru; ਰੁਸ਼ਾ-ਅਭਿਪਤਿਤਂ - in anger having attacked; ਜਿਤ੍ਵਾ-ਇਂਦ੍ਰਮ੍- - winning over Indra; ਅਭ੍ਯਾਗਮਃ- - returned; ਤਤ੍-ਤੁ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ-ਮਦ-ਦੋਸ਼ - that indeed is prosperity caused arrogance; ਈਦ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਸ਼ ਇਤਿ - comes to this; ਵ੍ਯਾਖ੍ਯਾਤੁਮ੍-ਏਵ-ਅਕ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਥਾਃ - demonstrate only (Thou) did;

Translation
To give back to Aditi the ear ornaments which were taken away by Narakaasura, Thou went to the heaven. Satyabhaamaa had accompanied Thee who put to shame the women there, with her beauty. Thou were received with honour by Indra and others. Thou took away the Kalpataru, at which, the angered Indra put up a fight. Thou won over him and returned to Thy city. Thou did this to demonstrate to the world the evil which is generated from prosperity.

ਕਲ੍ਪਦ੍ਰੁਂ - the Kalpa tree; ਸਤ੍ਯਭਾਮਾ-ਭਵਨ-ਭੁਵਿ - in Satyabhaamaa's palace courtyard; ਸ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਜਨ੍ - planting; ਦ੍ਵ੍ਯ-ਅਸ਼੍ਟ-ਸਾਹਸ੍ਰ- - twice eight thousand; ਯੋਸ਼ਾਃ ਸ੍ਵੀਕ੍ਰੁਰੁਇਤ੍ਯ - women accepting; ਪ੍ਰਤਿ-ਆਗਾਰਂ - in every house; ਵਿਹਿਤ-ਬਹੁ-ਵਪੁਃ- - taking on many forms; ਲਾਲਯਨ੍ ਕੇਲਿਭੇਦੈਃ - nurturing with various activities; ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ਯਾਤ੍-ਨਾਰਦ- - surprisingly by Naarada; ਆਲੋਕਿਤ-ਵਿਵਿਧ-ਗਤਿਃ- - seen (in) different activities engaged; ਤਤ੍ਰ ਤਤ੍ਰ-ਅਪਿ ਗੇਹੇ - in each of those houses; ਭੂਯਃ ਸਰ੍ਵਾਸੁ ਕੁਰ੍ਵਨ੍ - again to all of them giving; ਦ੍ਸ਼ ਦਸ਼ ਤਨਯਾਨ੍ - ten sons each; ਪਾਹਿ ਵਾਤਾਲਯੇਸ਼ - save O Lord of Guruvaayur!;

Translation
Thou planted the Kalpa tree in the courtyard of Satyabhaamaa's palace. The 16000 women were accepted by Thee as wives. Thou took on as many forms and engaged Thyself in each of those houses of these wives in various activities and lovingly nurtured them. Naarada was surprised to see Thee sporting in this manner. Thou then gave each of them ten sons. O Lord of Guruvaayur save me.
